Had a project in my business class that involved us moving to a new city, picking a job, and getting a nice house. I picked Concord, NH and was looking at $1 million homes. This one for $1,275,000 showed up. Its incredible!
I first was pulled to the Maserati. Then the awesome Pontiac Grand Prix convertible (thanks Knowsaboutcars). But look in the corner! A Delorean! The Sonata in the back there doesn't count....
But the rest of the house is insane too. Seems like a steal for only $1.25 million.
5/4.5/5. Over 6,000 square feet. 2 kitchens, heliport(!), movie theatre, wine cellar, gym, and spa!
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . What do you think? I love it and it is really cheap for what it is! Find me a better home for that much!

Gym, Theater, Garage...I'd be set.

that's because it's in Concord and nobody wants to live in Concord.

$1.25M? That's it? Well all my wife and I have to do is make 5x as much as we do now and we'll be able to afford it. I mean we've only been working for 3 years, so 3*5 = 15 years, I'll be able to afford that in 15 years on an engineers salary...riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

I think that's a Pontiac Grand Prix, not a Buick.

Looks like you may be right after a google search! Second generation 1969-1972
Same odd front

SCREW YOU THE SONATA DOES COUNT! What do you drive when all your fun cars are on the two post lift for repairs? Your second or third girlfriend needs to go somewhere. Which car do you risk? Your super-expensive Italian GT, your 80 bazillion HP big block Buick, your rare, irreplaceable movie star car, or the mass produced transportation appliance that you can have replaced faster than it would take to fire your assistant for not getting the rare champagne bottle from the vineyard for her visit, even though you underlined and highlighted that item in his leadger, and now your second-or-third girlfriend has to risk her skin driving around with the poors to get something tasty to drink for you to both enjoy before your usual sex in the private movie theater?
See? Without the Sonata, everything falls apart. If you think the time for beige motoring is over now that you can live in a million dollar mansion, you're wrong. Will all those fun and risky flaming death mobiles hanging around, you'll need beige more than you ever did before!

That was more of a joke, I like to hate on Concord but in all seriousness in the past year there has been a whole lot of heroine flowing that town.

That may have been the best defense for a Sonata I have ever heard!

That house would go for at least $6m around these parts.

Oh... that doesnt sound like a good place to raise a family!
Im down in Fl now so I dont know shit about any places up there!
![]() 05/08/2014 at 17:07 |

That was my thinking! You cant get anything like that in Fl or NJ for that price (only two areas I know about regarding real estate)!

It's not all that bad, I would just live in a town just outside of Concord though like Bow or Hooksett.

I appreciate any advice I can get! My job involves me selling Volvos at the dealership in that area (again, my teacher picked it, I swear)

Wow. Angst much?

Heh, that's about £600k to £750k. You can barely buy any kind of house in London for the top end of that, at least not one that's not next to a railway line or motorway or something.

As a Sonata owner, I both fully endorse and resemble this remark.

So your boyfriend makes you get expensive wine before you go at it while watching a movie in his theatre.

Well if there is anything you could use some help with be sure to let me know. I only live ~30 minutes from Concord.

That's alright. You're in school now for a reason. Methinks your prof asked you to look at houses for a little bit of extra motivation to do a good job

I fear college isn't preparing you for the real world.

I would send the butler instead of taking Sonata.
